I'd like to say thank you to Carnagill for letting me come back for Work Experiance. I can't wait to come back for two weeks in the summer. It will be great. I really miss this school and all the memories packed in it. Hopefully see you all soon. All the best :) xxx

i went to this school in the 80s with my sister vanessa our teacher was mr Addison,my sister still writes to him .I rember the teacher that hit my knuckells with the ruler for something i never did lol
would be good to catch up with old people like suzanne croney ,great school i didnt turn out bad i moved to london had two children and work as a singer .Hope you all had much fun at school as i did

What an amazing harvest festival, it was a pleasure to watch. A big thankyou to Mr Brown on his wonderful music video set to fields of gold, I feel extremely lucky that my daughter has had the oppotunity to be taught by you. You are a complete inspiration.

I would like to add my fond memories of attending this school from1979 to 1981, my Teachers were Mrs Watson, Mr Addison and not forgetting Mrs Wiggans, whom after reading a post on your site sadly passed away. Just before i left this school Mrs Walton become Headteacher and brought a fresh new start to the school. My most fondest memory would be being the lead role in the School Play Xmas 1981 the day before i left(I was dressed a fetching blue with white spots dress along with a Papier Mache Cows Head) Memories i will hold forever of all my friends and staff at this school.

Hey peeps i am happy at this school but in 3 or 4 yrs im leaving :D

I must have been here at the same time as Michael, in 1986 or 1987. This is the primary school I have the fondest memories of out of the four I went to (being in an army family we moved around a lot).
Ah - the wooden ruler! I remember it well. Also, a time when we went to Fountains Abbey and dressed as monks, and another when we washed, dyed, carded, span then knitted wool Mr. Hatton had got from the farm (I think where he lived). Come to think of it we were always doing something interesting - or singing along to Miss Walton's John Denver tape in assembly!! How the memories are coming flooding back....

Hi i went to this school in 2001/2003, seems long but i remember it well, meeting new friends,nice teachers and alot of good memories from my days at school here,i'm now 19 and its been one of the best schools i've been at.

carnagill is a great school when i was there i had a lot of fun and i had lots of friends and i wish i could come back

I am sorry to tell you that Mrs Wiggans passed away just before Easter 2006. She was a very special lady and we all miss her. We have since opened an outside classroom dedicated to her in the school grounds which proudly bears her name.

Mrs Fitton used to be my headteacher, Mrs lennon one of my favourites. I had no idea you still worked there, it is so surreal.

Hi, i think i went here for a while not long after you first opened. That's a long time ago. My dad was in the R.Sigs and we got posted all over the place but always came back to Catterick, and as i was growing up too, i went to a few schoold in the area. Wavell and Colburn.
I'm writing a book about growing up in the army, and school, and friends and culture shock every couple of years, great times. And I remember the walk to school from Willow Ave very well fro some reason...

Hi I attended school here in 1984 after coming direct from germany, I have great memories of attending especially when David Bellamy came to do a factual nature programme on the school grounds.

Hi there - I went to Carnagill in the early 80's and was my favourite school....being an ex-army child we see a few schools but I have very fond memories of this one :-)
Does anyone knows the whereabouts of Mrs Wiggins?? She was my favourite teacher of all time and saw me through some very difficult times as I was growing up. She was so lovely and I often think of her.

I think the school is the best but I still like every thing in the school! Miss Kirby's class is great I think Mrs Cook is funny and class 2k is brilliant also the football club is a great success!!! Carnagill is number 1!

We visited the school today(4/6/08) with our three children and it was everything that we expected and more. Very friendly adults and children. Our two children are looking forward to joining the school in september.

I was a pupil at Carnagill school between 1986-1988 and it with much fondness that I remember the place. It is lovely to see this website and it brings back many happy childood memories spent at the school.

Carnagill is a brilliant school and the children are at the centre of what the school is about. My little boy is visually impaired but this doesn't stop the school from including him, quite the contrary. Harry loves school, and he makes eveyone laugh, and he LOVED garden club, after school. He was very sad when it finished, and is looking forward to it starting again. He's a keen gardener now :-)).
Well done Carnagill. :-))
